Unrealised Profit & Loss Calculation (Excluded Fees)

For Long position:

Unrealised PnL = Position * Multiplier * ( Marked Price - Entry Price )

* Multiplier = 0.001

For example:

A trader holds 1,000 contracts at 7,000 USDT, and its current marked price is 7,300 USDT.

UPnL = 1000 * 0.001 * (7,300 - 7,000)

= 300 USDT

If trader sells the 1,000 contracts at the current marked price, the unrealised PnL would be 300 USDT (Excluded Fees).

For Short position:

Unrealised PnL = Position * Multiplier * ( Marked Price - Entry Price )

* Multiplier = 0.001

For example:

A trader holds 1,000 short contracts at 7,000 USDT, and its marked price has raised to 7,300 USDT.

UPnL = -1,000 * 0.001 * (7,300 - 7,000)

= - 300 USDT

If the trader sells the 1,000 short contracts at the current marked price of 7,300 USDT, the unrealised PnL would be -300 USDT (Excluded Fees).

Realised Profit & Loss (Included Fees)

Realised Profit = Unrealised Profit - Commission Fees

*Fees = 0.02%

* Multiplier = 0.001

For example:

A trader longs 1,000 contracts at 7,000 USDT, and its current marked price rises 7,400 USDT and close position immediately. The realised profit and loss as shown below:

Unrealised Profit = 1,000 * 0.001 * (7,400 - 7,000)

= 400 USDT

Fee to open = 1,000 * 0.001 * 7,000 * 0.02%

= 1.4 USDT

Fee to close = 1,000 * 0.001 * 7,400 * 0.02%

= 1.48 USDT

Realised Profit = 400 - (1.4 + 1.48)

= 397.12 USDT

If the trader sells the 1,000 contract at the marked price of 7,400 USDT, the realised profit including the commission fees will be 397.12 USDT.
